Don’t get scammed!

It seems that we all have received phone calls from places claiming to be “Tech Support”, “Microsoft”, “Apple”, “Credit Services” or any number of various places.  Are these legit? NO, NO, and did I say NO.

If you receive a phone call claiming that your computer is having problems or causing problems your best action is to HANG UP. These are scams.  Even if they claim to be from someplace that you know or do business do NOT give any information. HANG UP.

Several customers of ours have reported getting scammed out of hundreds of dollars and even up to $1,500. That money is gone.  In addition, they now have the cost of getting their computer cleaned of software put on by the scammers. They also may need to deal with changing bank accounts or debit/credit cards.
